Before it’s a Movie, Read About The 1980’s Throwdown Between Nintendo and Sega

There’s a reason Seth Rogen has the rights to make Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the Battle that Defined a Generation into a movie: it’s fantastic story of corporate rivalry and intrigue, set against an awesomely eighties background. It’s The Social Network for the early years of the video game industry and it can be yours to read on Kindle for only $2 (paperback copies are usually around $8. That’s the cheapest it’s ever been and remember, you can read Kindle books on any phone, laptop, or tablet, just download the Kindle app.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's "Reinforce" Mode Returns Today for a Limited Time

Another multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now.

“Reinforce” is a team-based 4v4 mode where players must capture points to revive teammates. To win, you need to obtain all the points or wipe out the enemy team.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's "Reinforce" Mode Returns Today for a Limited Time

Writing on Reddit, Infinity Ward shared some tactics. “You may want to wait to capture your first point until you need to revive your teammates that fell while taking ‘B.’ As an elimination mode, move tactically and remember teamwork is key,” the developer suggested.

Reinforce is available in Infinite Warfare now through Monday, January 9, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. It isn’t completely new for Infinite Warfare, as it was featured in a playlist back in December.

Infinite Warfare’s first paid expansion, Sabotage, comes out for PlayStation 4 on January 31, before coming to Xbox One and PC later. It adds four new multiplayer maps and a ’90s-themed Zombies expansion in the form of “Rave in the Redwoods.” You can read more about it here.

Ultimate Spider-Man Finale Preview, Plus a Teaser for the Next Spidey Animated Series

Share.

IGN’s got an exclusive clip from the USM finale, along with a tease of what’s to come.

Marvel’s longest running animated series, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man — the fourth and final season is titled Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. the Sinister 6 — wraps up this Saturday, January 7th, with a two-part, one-hour episode, “Graduation Day” Part 1 and Part 2, starting at 7:30pm ET.

We’ve got a clip from the finale to share with you, some cool tidbits and facts about the episode – and the first teaser for Marvel’s brand new animated Spider-Man series!

In this finale scene, a captured Crossbones tries to cut a deal with Spider-Man, but Scorpion shows up and throws an interesting wrench into the works.

Now, let’s get you a little more information about this double-episode. Firstly, during the season finale, Disney XD will be releasing a quick teaser that includes the new animated series logo for Marvel’s Spider-Man. And we’ve got it right here! Check it out:

That’s right, Marvel’s Spider-Man will debut this summer – previously, it was only known that the release would be sometime in 2017.

Ultimate Spider-Man is not only the longest running animated Spider-Man show of all time, it’s the only Spidey series to get the chance to have a proper conclusion, bringing elements from all four seasons to a close. In fact, one of the final scenes is a throwback to the very first episode, and was always planned to be included before production began on Season 4.

In the final scenes, you’ll find some familiar (and surprising) characters from earlier in the series. All while, for the first time ever, all three of Spider-Man’s teams are together on-screen, bringing back voices and characters from all four seasons.

Here are the official synopses for “Graduation Day” Parts 1 and 2.

Part 1 (7:30 – 8:00 P.M. EST)

Doctor Octopus (Doc Ock) threatens to harm Aunt May if Spidey ever puts on his mask again. Spider-Man must track down Doc Ock before he has a chance to put his plan into action.

Part 2 (8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EST)

Peter Parker must find a way to stop Doctor Octopus and the Superior Sinister Six from destroying all of the heroes in New York and taking over the world.

$12 Gets You XCOM 2 for PC and a Handful of Other Games

Humble Bundle has been offering its monthly mystery bundles for over a year now, but the upcoming one might easily be the best one yet.

Humble Monthly is Humble’s Loot Crate-esque subscription service where you get a mystery pack of games (redeemable on Steam) on the first Friday of the month. One of the games is always announced ahead of time, and for February, it’s XCOM 2.

$12 Gets You XCOM 2 for PC and a Handful of Other Games

New subscribers can receive the game immediately by signing up now, while existing subscribers can choose to pay early to also obtain immediate access. Humble Monthly costs $12, which is substantially less than XCOM 2. Steam still sells it for for $60 and has never offered it for less than $30.

That makes the upcoming bundle a great deal regardless of what else you may get. For reference, the just-debuted January bundle came with Project Cars, Mother Russia Bleeds, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Neon Chrome, Jotun, Hopiko, and Kimmy. As a bonus that’s been added since Humble Monthly first debuted, subscribers also receive 10 percent off on the Humble Store.

Those new to the service have until February 3 to sign up to receive the bundle with XCOM 2.
