Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage Up for Role in Avengers: Infinity War

The actor is expected to appear in both Infinity War films.

Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, is reportedly up for a role in Avengers: Infinity War.

Variety reports that Dinklage is in talks to join the upcoming Marvel film’s cast, though there isn’t any information about what character the actor would play if he does. The seventh season of Game of Thrones recently wrapped production, and the show’s move from a summer to fall shoot has allowed Dinklage to potentially star in Infinity War, which is set to begin shooting this summer in Scotland. The next two Avengers movies will be filmed back-to-back and Dinklage is expected to appear in both, according to Variety.

Gamora actress Zoe Saldana also confirmed to IGN that Gamora will make some sort of an appearance in Infinity War as well (as seen in the video above), while Peter Parker actor Tom Holland teased the chances of Spider-Man showing up in Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War has a May 4, 2018 release date, and Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo are returning to helm the film.
