Samsung announced several new quantum dot curved monitors designed for gaming. Samsung’s new curved monitors have a maximum resolution of 2,560×1,440 and a 178-degree viewing angle. The monitors are designed to be an aesthetically pleasing pieces of decor, featuring a “clean, white chassis” and “three-sided boundless design.” The monitors utilize quantum dot technology, a display technology that offers a more pure color reproduction than LCD, meaning a wider color gamut is possible, as well as more vibrant colors.

The CH711 monitor will be available in both 27 and 31.5-inch sizes when it goes on sale “early 2017.” Samsung is also showing off its CFG70 and CF791 quantum dot curved monitors at CES 2017. The CFG70 comes in 24 and 27-inch models, and the 34-inch CF791 has a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both became available in December 2016, and will be on display at Samsung’s CES 2017 booth at Booth 15006 in Central Hall. Additionally, Samsung is showing off its next line of high-resolution, quick-response monitors, the UH750 and SH850.
